My campaign for State Representative is moving forward to bring change to our community. I have received the endorsement of a large majority of local officials, citizens and other supporters, representing a broad cross-section of Lapeer County.
In order to make a difference in Lansing, we must have a strong candidate
with public support and a proven track record of community leadership.
I have been stepping up to the plate for this community and this
country ever since I volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army
during the Vietnam War. As a matter of fact, I was still on
active duty in Korea when my Michigan neighbors first elected
me as a Republican Precinct Delegate in 1970. My subsequent
elections as a Township Trustee, North Branch School Board
member, and Lapeer ISD School Board Member, as well as
my 30 years as a Republican Executive Committee Member,
have enabled me to provide strong conservative leadership.
My deep roots in this community, my dedication to public
service, and my extensive legal experience will allow me
to serve as an effective legislator for you.
